We are excited to share that Hepburn & Hughes are now official licensees of the official HMS Victory trademark and all of our HMS Victory jewellery and cufflinks will now carry the logo.
Working with the National Museum of the Royal Navy
In January we were contacted by The National Museum of the Royal Navy (NMRN) to see if we would be interested in a Licence Agreement.
This is a great opportunity for us to raise the profile of our Hepburn & Hughes brand and also our HMS Victory products. Plus our licence fee from the sale of the products will go towards the preservation of naval heritage.
HMS Victory Wood and Copper jewellery
The HMS Victory wood and copper we use was originally purchased from artist and maker David Roger Burton as part of the 2005 restoration bicentenary project commemorating the Battle of Trafalgar and the part that HMS Victory played in that momentous event. As you can imagine there are huge ongoing costs associated with the upkeep of this ship which is currently undergoing a £35 million conservation and restoration project. With each purchase, our licence fee will contribute towards this project.
