Lapis Lazuli Jewellery
Lapis Lazuli is a semi-precious gemstone with an intense blue colour with flecks of white calcite or golden pyrite. It has been used for millennia by the Egyptians and Tutankhamun's mask has a Lapis Lazuli inlay. It was also used for cosmetics, pigments and medicine. Lapis Lazuli is the birthstone for both September (contemporary) and December (traditional).
