Polish flint is a member of the Chalcedony family, and what makes it unique is its internal layering. The banded flint, which is only found in the Jurassic limestone in Poland (estimated to be 160million years old). The different swirling colours of chocolate brown and mocha create a very unique pattern. Some of the bands show a nice, unexpected translucence, and the earthy tones are very on trend and versatile enough to go with most anything.

A sophisticated Polish Flint pendant set in sterling silver. It differs from other pendants in the Polish Flint collection in that the cabochon is flatter and the oval slightly wider. It retains the unique markings of this semi precious gemstone with it's unique internal layering of neutral colours - easy to wear and very on trend with is beige and grey colours.
