A sterling silver Japanese Imari pendant, made from an upcycled plate from the famous Imari ware Japanese porcelain. There are two options, red and blue, in a pleasing triangle shape.

This exquisite piece of jewellery is handcrafted from a damaged Japanese Imari plate. The antique porcelain originated in Arita, Japan and was highly sought after internationally.
It showcases intricate designs and vibrant colours depicting birds and flowers. The distinctive style often incorporates a prominent blue underglaze with delicate touches of red, gold, and other hues.
Originating in the 17th century, Imari ware was specifically made for the European market and shipped from the port that gave it its name. Its production flourished during the 17th and 18th centuries, making it widely available.
