Shiva Eye is a natural gem, and the protective doorway of the Turban snail’s shell. When the snail's life come to an end and sinks to the seabed, the Shiva eye detaches. It is most commonly found in the shallow tropical waters of south-east Asia. Its name is derived from the Hindu god Shiva – and represents Shiva's third eye.
