Blue Willow Pattern Jewellery
We acquired broken or damaged pieces of Blue Willow plates and upcycled them into unique pieces of sterling silver jewellery. Pottery is a traditional gift for the 9th wedding anniversary, as well as willow, so jewellery from our Blue Willow Pattern pottery collection makes a unique gift. The legend of the Willow pattern depicts forbidden love between a noble Chinese Mandarin's daughter and his secretary, and their quest to escape together. The story ends in tragedy as they both die, and the Gods, touched by their love, immortalise them as Doves in the sky.
