FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the WWII collection made from genuine aluminium?
Absolutely. We only use reclaimed aluminium salvaged from historic WWII aircraft. To give you total peace of mind, every single piece of jewellery comes with a Certificate of Authenticity that details the heritage of the metal used in your specific item.
How should I clean my jewellery?
Use the specialist polishing cloth we include in your order to buff the metal. A specialist silver polishing solution such as Silvo can work on the silver elements, but you should avoid getting this in any other materials in the jewellery such as wood, aluminium or ceramic. It is also recommended to avoid silver dips or harsh chemicals, as these can react with the jewellery and dull its shine.
Can I wear my jewellery or cufflinks every day?
Yes! We’ve designed these pieces to be durable, but remember that some items are softer than others, such as wood and aluminium. To keep it looking its best, we suggest the "last on, first off" rule – put your jewellery on after applying any colognes, lotions, or sunscreens, and take it off before showering or swimming.
Do you offer gift wrapping for special occasions?
We certainly do. We offer a premium gift-wrap service that’s perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, or retirements. Every order also includes a beautifully designed greeting card, which we will handwrite with your message, so it’s ready to hand over, or send directly to the recipient.
What are your shipping options for the UK and overseas?
We offer FREE standard postage for all UK orders over £70, with express postage (1-2 days) for £3.99. For our international history buffs, we provide fully tracked shipping to the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, ensuring your piece of heritage jewellery arrives safely and securely, no matter where you are in the world.
