Care & Authenticity
Rust, patina & the white-gold coating
Muonionalusta meteorite has a naturally high iron content and will oxidise if left unprotected. Every piece in this set has been finished with a 3-micron white-gold coating that acts as a protective barrier against moisture and air, preserving the 'Space Grey' lustre.
Care guidance
Specific care instructions: avoid prolonged exposure to water, perfume, and harsh chemicals, and store in the pouch provided when not in use.
Authenticity
Every pendant is supplied with a physical Certificate of Authenticity that confirms the piece originates from the Muonionalusta meteorite, recovered from its find-site in Northern Sweden. The certificate details the provenance of the piece and is included in the gift set.

I just want to say the delivery was super quick! I was happy with the packaging and I am happy with the quality/authenticity - but - the picture taken to advertise the pendant is taken on a deliberate angle with lighting to highlight the Widmanstätten patterns. That is not what the piece looks like in real life.
It’s hard to take photos that capture what it actually looks like but to me it just looks like a silver bar, you have to really look closely for the pattern. Mine has a few marks that just look like dirt from a distance so I’m a little disappointed sadly.
I bought for a gift for my wife, have yet to see her reaction as they're still tucked away for the special occasion.
I did have a look and they are lovely. Bold but delicate, pretty patterns on the meteorite and nice silver work. I particularly appreciate the nano coating to prevent rust, as oiling them to protect the iron would be impractical and gross to wear.
