Malachite is formed over millions of years as water saturated with copper drips in underground caverns, creating unique and distinctive bands when sliced.

How do I care for Malachite?

• Mind the Softness: Malachite is a soft stone (3.5 to 4 on the Mohs scale). Treat it with love! Remove it before the gym, gardening, or sleeping.
• Keep it Dry: Malachite is porous and has a high copper content. Avoid wearing it in the shower, pool, or sea, as water can dull that gorgeous shine.
• Chemical-Free Zone: Perfumes and lotions are a no-go. Put your jewellery on last after your beauty routine is finished.
• Cleaning: Skip the ultrasonic cleaners! A simple, dry microfiber cloth is all you need to restore its lustre.
