What makes our Meteorite jewellery special:
- The "Widmanstätten" Pattern: This can only be formed in outer space and is the result of the slow cooling of the crystalline structure in the iron-nickel core. This also means that every pendant has unique latticed cross-sections
- The story behind its discovery: Discovered by boys playing football in Sweden in 1906, the meteorite landed on Earth around 1 million years ago. The meteorite itself is estimated to be at least 4 billion years old.

Frequently Asked Questions about the meteorite:
Iron is susceptible to oxidisation - how do you prevent this? When we first sourced the Muonionalusta meteorite for this collection our biggest challenge was its natural tendency to oxidise (rust) due to its high iron content. To prevent this we have applied a specialized 3-micron white gold coating. This creates a protective barrier that preserves the 'Space Grey' lustre.
How to care for your meteorite jewellery: Avoid getting it wet, and always apply perfume and lotions before you put your jewellery on. Full care instructions are included in your purchase
