Some common questions we get about Muonionalusta Meteorite
- Meteorite is predominately iron – how do you prevent rusting? Iron is highly susceptible to oxidisation (rust), so to ensure its longevity we have applied a specialised 3-micron white gold coating. This creates a protective barrier.

How do I look after something so old? All our jewellery comes with a care sheet. Our top advice is NOT to get the meteorite wet and avoid applying perfumes and lotions once you are wearing the jewellery.
- What's included with the purchase? A certificate of provenance, a gift card with Meteorite information on, an 18" silver chain, a care sheet and a silver polishing cloth.

Care Guide
In order to protect your Hepburn & Hughes jewellery and ensure that it always looks as good as new, we advise you to follow these steps.
- Use the cleaning cloth provided to clean and polish your silver. This lint-free cloth is chemically treated to improve the silver's lustre and shine and can be used for light, regular cleanings to remove tarnishing.
- Avoid contact with perfume, skin creams, hairspray and chlorine.
